BUILD VARIETY INTO
YOUR TRAINING

Training Anywhere

We can train wherever suits you best. If you have access to a gym, that's great, however, weather permitting, you can also get a great workout in the open air using a minimal amount of equipment and whatever is around you such as benches and steps.

De-conditioned Population

Many of my clients come to me in a de-conditioned state either having never exercised or not exercised for a long time, or with injuries or health issues and the programme will be tailored to their capability and goals. It's never too late to reap the longer term benefits of strength, flexibility and increased vitality.

Older Adults

I am that older adult. I am 64 (how did that happen?) and have been exercising for over 37 years. When I became a PT I decided to take my experience to the older adult population and have subsequently taken courses to train people with age and life style related conditions.

Movement

I am a big fan of Yoga and Animal Flow both of which require strength and flexibility. I will often include movements or stretches from these disciplines into your training routines to improve flexibility and to add some variety to your workout. Please note I am not a Yoga Instructor.

Gym Environment

A gym can be a bit daunting if you are not used to it and it is essential that you understand the correct form and use of weights and the various equipment. Even one session with a PT can put you on the right track to avoid injury.

Ante Natal and Post Natal

Getting pregnant does not mean the end of your training for 9 months but it does mean that you need to be aware of what you can do and you should not do before and after your pregnancy. Choosing a personal trainer who has qualifications in this area is crucial.
