What is Visceral Fat?

In the past I have talked about the importance of reducing excess visceral fat.

It should be noted that you cannot reduce fat from one specific area and you cannot reduce belly fat by doing a million sit ups or crunches a day.

There are no specialist diets or exercises to reduce this fat. Please find below the best ways in which to reduce your excess belly fat:

• Consume a diet consisting of minimally processed foods • Reduce sugary drinks/alcohol intake • Eat slowly, chew well • Eat until satisfied not full • Eat more fibre • Eat enough protein • Stay hydrated • Exercise/move regularly and consistently • Get enough quality sleep • Reduce stress levels • Practice self-compassion

Remember: Consistency in all the above is the key to success

Simples!!
